About the role

As an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), you will play a critical role in providing exceptional medical care and transportation for patients in both emergent and non-emergent situations. You will work alongside paramedics and fellow EMTs to assess patients, administer basic life support (BLS), and ensure safe transport to medical facilities.


What You’ll Do:

  • Provide basic life support (BLS) care to patients following Ohio EMS protocols.

  • Administer oxygen, CPR, and non-invasive treatments to stabilize patients.

  • Perform airway management, bandaging, and fracture immobilization as needed.

  • Accurately assess and document patient conditions, treatments, and interventions during transport.

  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, paramedics, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.

  • Safely operate and maintain emergency vehicles and equipment in accordance with company and state regulations.

  • Handle radio communications and coordinate with dispatch to determine transport logistics.

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring that emergency equipment is properly stocked and functioning.

  • Provide compassionate, professional care, addressing both the physical and emotional needs of patients.


What You’ll Need:

  • Completion of an Approved EMT Training Program and a valid Ohio EMT Certification.

  • Current BLS certification and State of Ohio certification.

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Valid Ohio driver’s license with a clean driving record.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively interact with patients, partners, and healthcare professionals.

  • Ability to use computers and electronic documentation systems for patient care records.

  • Experience preferred, but not required—we provide training and support for career growth.
